Melanie Tan

Melanie is a skilled clinician with over a decade of experience in diverse patient groups and clinical settings. She has worked in both public and private healthcare sectors, managing a wide range of conditions including neurological, sporting injuries, post-operative orthopaedic, vestibular, paediatric, and geriatric rehabilitation.

Graduating with first-class honours from the University of Queensland, Australia, Melanie has built a strong foundation in physiotherapy, continually expanding her expertise through practical experience and ongoing education.

As an active sports enthusiast, Melanie understands the critical importance of quality rehabilitation and injury prevention in sports and musculoskeletal conditions. She advocates for individualised rehabilitation approaches and has provided field coverage for soccer and hockey tournaments, the SEA Games, and the ASEAN Para Games.

Throughout her clinical practice, Melanie has developed a deep appreciation for the interplay of body systems in everyday function and pain management. She employs a holistic approach, integrating visceral manipulation into her physiotherapy practice, alongside manual therapy techniques, taping, exercise rehabilitation, and dry needling.

Passionate about both paediatric and adult care, Melanie is dedicated to empowering patients of all abilities. She is a certified Cuevas Medek Exercise and Autism Fitness practitioner and volunteers with PlayBuddy, an initiative introducing sports to children of all abilities.

Outside the clinic, Melanie enjoys staying active through rock climbing and cycling.
